I am love
worn proudly
in letters

L O V E

on a backpack

announcing
my membership
in the human race
of everyone
imperfect

I am
open heart
compassion
kindness

the antithesis
of hate
and lockstep fear

I am
strong
curious
fear-less

and I will brandish
that logo
brazen
like a weapon.
