At First Glance, Violet

At first glance, violet. A second look says Birdfoot Violet, often referred to as the “queen” of all the violets due to its beautiful colorations and the leaves that resemble a bird’s foot.

  1. Beautiful photo/beautiful caption. Your poetic wording comes out even here. I have long finished Evidence of Flossing (It was my goal to read it through in the month of April, National Poetry Month.), but I find myself turning down the pages and rereading it, applying certain poems “as needed” throughout the days.
I HIGHLY recommend the experience that reading this slim volume gave me to others who are moved by poetry.

    1. Thank you Rae. I seem to be in a Photography mood lately – the muse speaking to me that way instead of poetry. For a while. I miss writing! xoxo
