3 – The perpetual movement of poetry as it crosses the perimeter of change

falls across the page,

compromises the rich brew,

turns the poem

about morning coffee

words are swallowed,

a voice gets lost,

the dirty water

spills onto the page

as the poet considers

the necessity of filters,

the grace of detachment,

and the prophesy of

open windows.
