Speaking of Alice…

What a gift to spot this radiant painting by Camille Pissarro at a recent trip to the Yale Art Gallery, while in the midst of reading Alice Hoffman’s The Marriage of Opposites, which narrates the love story of his parents.

  1. Camille Pissarro is one of my absolute favorite painters. I think I spent most of afternoon with his work at the National Gallery in London. It’s just mesmerizing. :-)
