National Readathon Day: January 24


Grab your latest book, ladies and gentlemen. It’s time for the first-ever National Readathon Day! On Saturday, January 24, join readers across the country who will be reading in solidarity for literacy from noon to 4 p.m. (in your own time zone). National Readathon Day is partnered with, and all money raised will go to the National Book Foundation’s efforts to improve literacy and reading proficiency for millions of Americans who lack basic skills. All you need to do to participate is pick a book and read it on January 24. You can also make a donation or create a fund-raising team on, or even host your own “reading party.” Click here for more information!

  1. Okay. So I’m back. And I’m reading or should say rereading the Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. But right now actually I am reading a book with my breakfast. The name of it is Look Up – Musings on the Nature of Mindfulness by Jennifer A. Payne. It is also a book that should be read and reread and reread. Have a great reading day.
