“What are you searching for?”
I ask him.
As if I am not.
As if I have searched, found,
and resigned myself.
WHAT ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR?
He tells me peace of mind.
And I think: you can’t have both!
searching and peace of mind
wanting and peace of mind
expecting and peace of mind
desire and peace of mind
I know.
Seek and ye shall find:
Chaos
Confusion
Convolution
WHAT ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR?
Resignation.

I love this :” Chaos Confusion Convolution”…especially convolution. It’s the whole poem in one word.
Pretty much it is, yes! : )
A Magritte I’ve never seen before! A present for an icy day.
Sometimes seeking IS finding. Nice when that happens.
Yes, sometimes seeking is finding. And sometimes seeking is maddening. Finding is nice. Poetry comes otherwise.
Oh now this is good!
On a roll this week…
