For You May Wander, but…

The pursuit, all the world over,
of gurus and their systems,
reading the latest books on this and that,
and so on, seems to me so utterly empty, so utterly futile, for you may wander all over the earth but you have to come back to yourself.

— J. Krishnamurti

  1. I think it was Crowded House who sang, “Everywhere you go, you always take the weather with you”. So true. And Alain de Botton’s book ‘The Art of Travel’ is a good one on the subject too.

  2. Krishnamurti always calls it like he sees it, and so does Chagall.
Of course each sees “it” differently — but here I think they play well together.
