in my memory as if it happened

Borrowed poetry
rings false to ears I adore
and dangles in the ethernet,
flaccid — like my dignity.
I caught him on a pragmatic day
when he is nothing but my antithesis,
so we hunt-and-peck
to dissect my intention.
Tomorrow he might find he loves me
and add more exes and ohs to his reply.
For now, I type what I meant to say
was have a nice day
.

  1. she appears to have died from boredom or perhaps she’s just tired of being too beautiful… either way, there’s nothing limp about this photo/poem combo! you amaze me, and yet i don’t know why i should be amazed – your poetry is so damn good
