So did I.
But the answer is age-old…

Looks like you’re not driving anywhere today! Plan on a snowshoe walk in the woods, and then hole up this evening by the fire with a nice glass of wine!
If one had snowshoes, that would be marvelous. I kinda just sink right down. If there’s 2 feet of snow and Jen is 5 feet tall, how far can she walk down her driveway…you do the math. Maybe I’ll just skip to the wine part of the day?
It’s a great day to wine and dig out! Stay safe and warm my friend!
You, too! xoxo
I remember when I used to live where it snowed quite a bit and often. Thankfully, I do not usually have to endure that any more. It is beautiful though. Stay safe.
It is beautiful. And once you let go of the need to dig your little 5 foot self out of 5 foot snow drifts…it looks even better! : )
Wow! That’s a lot of snow! We only got around 9 inches.
9 inches sounds soooo nice – but still an awful lot!. We got close to 2 feet!
I picture you standing there, in a hole, on your sturdy two legs, looking around and saying, “I know there was a lawn around here somewhere —”
So much for Punxatawney Phil, the charlatan.
One find much humor standing thigh-deep in a driveway-long snowdrift with a shovel. There are some things even I can not do…go figure.
Be careful, Jen. I think my shoveling days are over. Never thought I’d say this, but it might be time to start paying someone to do this. :-( And it use to be so much fun ;-)
I gave up and called the plow guys around noon yesterday!
Wow! That’s a lot of snow! Glad you’re okay after such a huge storm.
It’s pretty amazing, but it’s going to take a while for things to get back to normal!
