Last night at about 6:30 I realized — with a start — what day it was.
I hadn’t thought about it all day.
(I hadn’t thought about it in a while, actually.)
And then there it was. Last night at 6:30.
It was six years ago today.
(Six years ago today that my heart got broken apart and my life got turned upside down and nothing ever looked the same again.)
I should write something.
(If I tried to tell you, this post would go on for days.)
But what would I say?
(I can explain it like this: it is because of that moment six years ago — and the great transformations that followed — that I found myself on a path in the woods last weekend, meditating on the nature of trees and god and thought, and said out loud: “It’s the thought that causes suffering.”)
There really isn’t anything to say.

So true….a thought is a belief I keep thinking…change your thoughts and manifest what you truly want in life. Love the picture….the radiant light of creator blessing the forest.
EXACTLY! : )
yes – on a path in the woods AND on the path towards a stronger, happier, healthier you! fabulous photo, maryanne!
Much strong, happier, healthier…thanks, in part, to good friend like you! : )
“it’s the thought that causes suffering.” Wow. I love that and I am printing it out and putting it everywhere I can.
Wonderful post.
More on that thought (ha!) coming soon. But it is an interesting concept, right? Happy you found inspiration!
“No ideas but in things” — and the thing is, that photo is GLORIOUS. That too is a fact.
What a great reference! The photo certainly does seem to follow!
