Equal hours of light and darkness
we celebrate the balance of Mabon,
and ask the gods to bless us.
For all that is bad, there is good.
For that which is despair, there is hope.
For the moments of pain, there are moments of love.
For all that falls, there is the chance to rise again.
May we find balance in our lives
as we find it in our hearts.

Love that photo! Not sure where you found trees with leaves, let alone with such beautiful color! Irene managed to knock all of mine to the ground, grinding them up along the way, or to turn them shades of gray!
I forgot to mention “photo courtesy of 2009.” But lovely to *think about* the fall colors, no?
what a lovely photo… and i really needed to read that “prayer” today – thank you for both!
You know, I was thinking of you when I found that one in particular!
Beautiful photo, so suited for the day, and lovely words on this special day. Thank you truly, for the post.
Well, thank you for stopping by! Happy autumn!
I can almost hear the leaves rustling! :-)
…and feel the wonderful chill in the air? : )
Your words and photo, what a lovely way to mark the equinox. Thank you.
Thank YOU – it’s always great to have you stop by!
