*the fortuity of vague connections

“There is no logical way to the discovery of elemental laws. There is only the way of intuition, which is helped by a feeling for the order lying behind the appearance.”

– Albert Einstein

  1. wonderful flora and fauna photos – and there’s chippy! one of the cutest critters ever! and i must agree, the mushrooms are quite stunning

i know Einstein was a scientist, theorist, whatever – but then he goes and says something so unscientific…

  2. Among definitions for science:

“the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.”

Sounds a bit like Mindfulness to me.

The photos are lovely! I got a kick out of the headless one.

  3. This evening I’m into nature, so it’s mother flower and the trinity for me!
But all the images are interesting. Very vacation-y, I think. Wild and free.

    1. There is something about nature, isn’t there – capturing that moment, that expression? It was a very “wild and free” vacation…it’s always great to step away for a while, right?

  4. LOVE the mushroom photos and I am sort of partial to “off with her head” photo. I thought it had the perfect caption.
