Quid Pro Quo

Special thanks to all of you for following along with the extended National Postcard Week series! It was a lot of fun to think up, make time for, and create the seven postcards shown here on this blog and mailed off to friends and strangers alike.

The best part? The arrival of this fantastic piece of mail-art from my friend TJ!! Look at the colors and layers and details! I love how her sense of humor is sprinkled throughout, and did you notice the tiny envelope? “I only ask to be free,” read the Charles Dickens quote inside, but I had a hard time freeing the added treasure for fear I might ruin the effect!

With friends like this, “a happy life” is guaranteed!
