*Snapshots: Marfa

There’s always a moment, when I come back from my travels that I think: “I forgot to get a souvenir from the trip!” And then I remember: the photos! There are always photos…

  1. Hello Jen – I am the director of the Marfa Chamber of Commerce. I found your page through a Google Alert. I saw your Marfa photos and they are fabulous! You captured some beautiful shots of our town – and so very different from the ones I usually see.

Thanks for presenting a beautiful side of Marfa.

    1. Maybe it’s because we’re suddenly paying attention? There’s something about the time off, the time away, to time not doing that allows us to “see” the amazing?

  2. awwwww – see? i looked at them and thought “these are postcard-worthy” but they are even better – they are “coffee-table book-worthy” – great shots – and i agree with ms marginot – you don’t see many vacation shots like these, where the town is the star of the show!!! thanks for sharing, as always – teejay

    1. It’s one of my favorite things about traveling–the photos. Sometimes I luck out with the coffee-table-book photos, but I am just as happy with the kitschy typical-tourist shots, too!
